Supporting ‘Data for Development’

There’s been a lot of talk about how the Data Revolution can support Development all around the globe, like Jeffrey Sach’s work, the World Bank’s Open Data initiative, and strong government efforts such as Singapore’s government data portal and the Philippines’ agricultural data site.

Here at MankyMaps we’re working with local government agencies in Brazil and in the Philippines to support geospatial analyses for evidence-based policy-making, particularly with land & investment, risk management & resilience, as well as vulnerable populations such as indigenous peoples or single parents.

If you’re currently on our team in Brazil, the Philippines, and in Singapore, and would like to learn about our geospatial analytical programs to further your competencies, please feel free to talk to us about it. Your local supervisor will be happy to discuss company training initiatives.
